Artist Statement
I am a self taught artist who has 'been into' many forms of art since childhood, however I particularly love drawing, painting and ceramic sculpture.
I enjoy sculpting Australiana birds and animals, although I've only been sculpting in porcelain clay since 2005 I used to sculpt in air dry clay as a teenager, I've also created soft sculptures in the past and won awards for my hand made clowns, mice and fur fabric creations. My sculptures are mostly ideas that popped into my head which I then tried my best to turn into clay. I am always thrilled when someone likes my art enough to want to own it (something you never seem to get used to).
